Private John Carnahan was born in about 1779, in Pennsylvania. He served in Company 15 in the Regiment of
Josiah S. Johnson. He saw duty in the Battle of New Orleans. He received a pension and land, in 1850, as a result
of the Act.

As we see there are conflicting birthdates....
