SYNOPSIS - WISHING MAKES IT SO

AUTHOR, MARILYN MEREDITH

NIGHTMARE IN THE NURSERY!

Please, if you sit at your computer, lights dimmed to prevent reflections from the screen, DO TURN UP THE LIGHTS!
In the modern world of TV, microwave ovens, computers, space flight . . . there is an explantion for everything. A scientific answer.
OR IS THERE?

Belinda - a beautiful child. A four year old with big blue eyes that melt your heart. And she's coming to your house
YOU MAY NOT WANT TO BE HOME!

Some folks go looking for trouble. Alyse and Steven Chrestman did.
THEY GOT IT!

Simple events have simple explanations.
The events at the Chrestman's were simple. So must the explanations be.
And yet, time after time, startling incidents occur.
Startling incidents for which, of course, there are simple, logical explanations.

A Broken Doll.
A ruined hair-do
A baby out of the crib.

And accidents.
Strange accidents.
Recurrent accidents.
All, of course, with logical explanations.

In our dreams logic falls by the wayside.
We accept, without objection, the pleasant, the wonderful, the strange, . . . the weird!,
In our nightmares we accept, without objection, the horrifying!
Is this but a dream, a nightmare, a nightmare in the nursery?

Little lies.
Then big.
Events, incidents, accidents, lies, . . .
All leading to . . . ?

Ask Belinda.
She knows.

But, please, first,
DO TURN UP THE LIGHTS.
