The Hearse
Tentatively named something like "Unique
Departure" The Hearse is a 1965 Black Superior Hearse.
The Pictures show a White 1966 M&M Hearse that was aquired at the
same time along with a Cadilac Coupe DeVille
Located in August of 1996 on of all places a worm farm, it was bought
and stored at Rickey Sills' ranch The 1967 Black Superior hearse took a
little body and engine work as it was retired due to a kiss on a telephone
pole. This caused the front clip to be smashed in. We reworked the front
hood, fenders and other parts from the other Caddies we aquired which essentially
re yeared the front clip. We have actual hope of seeing it on the road
soon. Due to recent changes in the California Smog Laws, it no longer needs
to pass a smog test!
It has a beautiful baby blue headliner and an electric turnout table
that works from both sides! there is a hydroulic leveling system and when
both front and rear side doors are open there is an opening almost ten
feet wide in the side of the car!
Present plans include a body drop, cleanup and rework of the interior
and probably a purple paint job.
Since the Ladd Clan has a history of being in the "Grief Services business,
the hearse seems like a logical project.
White Hearses are primarily used for Virgins and Children.
The White M&M hearse has proven to be in pretty bad shape with
an engine in "kit form"
All of the Street Dreams Hearses have been sold.
