A freshman is approached by a sophomore and asked if he's taking Psych 101 with a particular teacher. The freshman replies yes. The sophomore tells the student that a five years ago, this same teacher had never given a grade higher than a D. The sophomore then asks the freshman is he wants to get a D. The freshman replies no. So the sophomore asks if he would like to purchase a magic term paper. The freshman asks if that's the same paper the teacher had given a B- on, a few of years ago. The sophomore tells him yes and then tells the freshman, he got an A on it last year. The freshman asks if the teacher would recognize the paper if he were to use it. The sophomore takes out the paper and tells the freshman to read what the teacher had written: A -- I've read this paper four times now, and like it better each time I read it. |
One day, a teacher arrived to his classroom long before the class began. He decided he had more than enough time to use the restroom. After using the facilities, he met a fellow teacher and they began to chat. While he was chatting, his students began to arrive for class. The teacher had left his hat on his desk, but he was no where to be seen. The students waited fifteen minutes past the start of class and then left. According to the handbook, if a teacher was fifteen minutes late for class, the students could leave. The next day, the teacher scolded them for leaving and marked all them down for missing the class. He told them he had left his hat on the desk, so they should have known he was there. The next day, the teacher arrived to class and found no students, but on each desk, there was a hat. |
There was a college student who was majoring in psychology. He convinced his fellow students of a particular class to help him with an experiment. Whenever their teacher stood next to the wastebasket, the students would pay close attention to his lectures. After a few classes, they had trained their teacher to stand next to the wastebasket during his entire lecture. The next step was to turn the wastebasket over. Within a short time, they managed to get their teacher to lecture with one foot on the wastebasket. Finally, through the use of postivie reinforcement, they managed to train their teacher to stand on the overturned wastebasket, during his entire lecture.. |
