Happy Holidays....Happy Holidays

That time of year is here, and so it causes those of us who design web pages to go into fanatical frenzy's of poinsettias, holly, bells and candles....giggle.  Seriously, it is important for many to grace their pages with seasonal imagery.  So, the designers create all sorts of new looks just for this cause.  This set is linkware.  Linkware is conditional free graphics.  My conditions for use can be found on my terms of use page.

The clipart that was used to make up this set is not mine, nor do I know the original creator.  There is a site on the net that requests that a link back be used to her site if any of the "non-original" images are used.  I found these images there, but I am NOT going to give 'her' credit for the clipart as she did not create it, she only 'collected' it.  Besides I've modified it beyond belief already, as it was NOT useable in it's original state.  Enough with my rant....getting testy this season I guess.  Now, if you are the "original" creator of the images, please contact me where I will be happy to give you credit for your wonderful creations.

I've provided several Christmas images that can be used to grace your pages, ones that can be used alone.  This set is combination of styles and for that reason, in this instance and because the original images are not mine, I remove the condition that all graphics must be used together.  However, if you use the set as it is (check my source code for the table structure or contact me), please give me credit for the visual effects by using the logo at the bottom of the page to link back to Quest Graphics Design.
You are wondering....okay...when is she going to get to the buttons for linking all this graphic stuff here?  A little further down on the page.  But I want to encourage you all to remember to give those that you love a hug, or remember to contact those that you haven't seen in awhile, or give to those that are in need if you have extra.

Now you are asking....why didn't she put any lettering on those buttons.  Well, if you have come this far and understand the architecture of doing a web page, then you have the capability of doing the navigational lettering yourself with a program like Paint Shop Pro or PhotoImpact (two of my favorite programs).  I use Photoshop as well, but sometimes it is just too tedious when making ordinary site graphics.

I've pretty much done things backwards...you would normally see a welcome banner at the top....but as this is also a closing message to all of you.....well, it came at the end.  May your holidays be full of cheer and good health.  I'm going to be working many hours this holiday season, so this will probably be one of the last set offerings before the new year.
